Our organizational surveys have been used by more than 400,000
people in the past 8 years and are used extensively by the Center
For Creative Leadership.
The CCAI is a culture general assessment designed to assess an
individual's cross-cultural adaptability. The authors identified
behavioral, emotional and problem-solving skills that are related
to successful cross-cultural adaptation. The CCAI helps individuals
gain self-awareness about their potential for cross-cultural
effectiveness. It is a strong measure of the psychological factors
that are crucial to success in cross-cultural interactions and
situations.
The CCAI is designed to respond to practical concerns which are
expressed both by culturally diverse and cross-culturally oriented
populations and by the trainers and professionals who work with
them. These needs are to understand the factors or qualities which
can enhance cross-cultural effectiveness; to become self-aware
regarding those factors or qualities in which on is strong and
those which need improvement; to decide whether to work in a
culturally diverse or multinational company, whether to live
abroad, and so on; to prepare to enter another culture through
training customized to the individual; and to improve skills in
interacting with people from other cultures when one is already in
a mutilcultural or new cultural setting.
