Vangent founded the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) in 1992
to help represent providers of assessment, selection, screening,
certification, licensing, educational and clinical tools. Today,
more than 100 organizations are ATP members.
The Healthcare-EPR assessment helps identify job applicants who
are most likely to become productive healthcare workers. The
Healthcare-EPR assessment evaluates attitudes and behaviors closely
associated with highly productive work habits.
Normative data is based on relevant groups.
The Healthcare-EPR report includes individual scale scores for
Productivity, and also Service Relations if assessed. In addition,
Significant Admissions and other information are contained in a
narrative list to help pinpoint areas for further investigation.
Interview questions corresponding to an applicant's specific
responses are also provided.
Areas of Measurement:
Conscientiousness - Measures the extent to which an applicant
effectively handles details, is well organized, doesn't give up
when solving difficult problems, and avoids procrastination.
Consistency - Assesses the extent to which an applicant
maintains performance and attitude at a satisfactory level
Punctuality - Measures the extent to which an applicant is on
time for work and meets deadlines.
Reliability - Assesses the extent to which an applicant is
trusted by others and observes organizational rules.
Responsibility - Measures the extent to which an applicant
respects authority, has a low tolerance for error, and doesn't find
enjoyment in 'beating the system'.
Service Relations Supplement - Helps evaluate attitudes and
behaviors closely associated with high levels of service to
patients and co-workers. It helps measure:
Enjoyment of helping others - Satisfaction of assisting
patients and/or co-workers, which creates a desire to continue to
assist others.
Optimism - Expecting positive outcomes or focusing on the most
positive aspects of a situation.
Self-restraint - Exercising discretion and maintaining
self-control when dealing with difficult situations.
Valuing of interpersonal relationships - Enjoyment from working
with others including patients and co-workers.
